We didn’t go to school for a couple of days. And when we finally resumed, the mood on campus was like a tightened wire. Even the most unserious students walked with their heads down, books clutched to their chest like some kind of protection. Even the teachers looked scared.

It was like everyone was waiting for the next bomb to drop.

I checked for Keira but I didn't see her. At
