Cassidy's POV

School closed early.

Classes were suspended before midday. No one said it out loud, but the tension was thick enough to taste. They didn’t want anyone asking questions. They didn’t want rumors spinning out of control. They especially didn’t want a repeat of what had happened.

Only I went home. The Princes stayed behind, all three of them. They were staying to help keep everything un
