After two full weeks of subtle bribing, emotional blackmail, and the kind of whining I usually reserved for my darkest hours, Keira finally caved.

We were going to the movies. Nothing extravagant. Just a regular night, outside The Royal Keep, outside all the suffocating expectations and supernatural drama. Just us.

Just normal.
