Fear curled in my belly by his words and seeing that, he lets out another sigh.

"Don't even bother to fight us," he says, looking directly at me. "You will just exhaust yourself."

My chest heaves as I stare at him, tears stinging my eyes. " Why bring me to the alpha to just kill me? Why not do it now?"
