Tessa's pov

*Present time*

The sudden burst of warmth on my skin stirs me awake. I peel my eyes open slowly, wincing as I adjust them to the light.

It's now morning, or perhaps afternoon.

I am still on the forest ground, my cheeks pressed to the damp leaves, my hair tangle with a few tiny twigs. I was now fully back human. Around me the forest is lush, green and beautiful. But I knew the danger it
