As midnight crept closer, the guests finished their group dinners one by one. Some could not wait any longer and were already squatting on the ground, eating.

Even as they ate, their eyes stayed locked on Sienna. They watched her and swallowed hard, as if staring at her food could somehow fill them up.

Sienna brought out all the dishes and set them on a nearby table. She told Gael to dig in first.
