The bastard stumbled away, cradling his jaw, blood dripping between his fingers and staining the cuff of his cheap, wrinkled shirt.
Pathetic.
I watched him retreat into the crowd, breathing hard, jaw clenched so tpght the pressure ached in my temples. My fists still curled at my sides, blood humming in my veins, the remnants of rage refusing to settle.
