Enzo walked out of the room. I didn’t want to believe things would change. Breaking off an engagement was not a good thing, even though there wasn’t an official promise yet, and I wasn’t wearing Rafe’s ring. But even Enzo had to follow the rules, right?

I quickly put on sweatpants and a t shirt because Dad would get angry if I wore something that showed too much skin and went out.
