All week I was in a haze. Every morning I woke up running to the bathroom and I was positive I was pregnant. I never feared anything so much in my life.

Corrado showed me what little he could offer me and my child so I had no choice but to run. I contemplated a million ways all week and came up short every time.

Once he said I could go back to work, a wave of relief washed over me. I didn
