Chapter 58

I go upstairs and check on Chiara before I leave. Just as I left her she is still sleeping. I touch and she is still hot. I’m annoyed I need to leave her. I softly kiss her head and leave her bedroom. I walk back downstairs and go straight to the kitchen.

“Mr. Volkov, did you need something?” Oksana greets.

“I have to step out for work.”

“Don’t you worry. I will look after Ms. Bellini.” She smiles
