Adrian was snapped out of his thoughts by a noise at the door. He quickly stopped what he was doing.

Turning around, he saw the doctor coming in. Adrian stood up, his expression calm and composed, and looked at the doctor.

The doctor, a little intimidated by Adrian's presence, quickly explained, "I heard Ms. Hale had woken up, so I came to check on her."
