I stood at the altar, my hands clasped in front of me to hide the slight tremble I couldn't quite shake.

The venue was stunning—white drapes cascaded from the ceiling like frozen waves, and the scent of thousands of lilies filled the air.

The afternoon sun filtered through the stained-glass windows, painting the floor in warm, honeyed hues.
