Caged Reflection

I searched my body for any chance of escape but found none. I discarded the wires attached to me and took in my surroundings, realizing that there was no way out. I leaned against the cold, metal bars of the cage, hoping my mind would clear enough to offer a solution, but everything was a blur. The space around me felt like a forgotten tomb.
