A Mother's Lullaby

The woman standing before Valerie couldn't remember her own name, her family, or anything else.

She only vaguely remembered living at the nursing home.

Valerie glanced around, thought for a moment, and decided to take the woman back to the nursing home.

If she just left now and let the woman stay alone in the garage, anything could happen.

"I'll take you back," Valerie said softly to the woman.
