I knew rejecting Reid was something that I wanted and needed to do, but when the time came, I was nervous to be alone with him. With how possessive he had been in the past, I was worried to be alone with him.

Fortunately, Bryce must have picked up the same impression from Reid, because when the time came for me to meet him, intending to reject him, Bryce insisted on joining me.
