As Darius turned to the remaining members of the search party to dismiss them, Giselle and I hurried after Garrick.

“Stupid, stupid Valerie,” Giselle said as we rushed.

“As long as she’s still in the picture she’s going to be a threat. We have to get her out of the way.”
