With Briony and the guards still at the door. And to make it worse, Valerius would be here anytime soon.

I paced up and down on the balcony, lost in thought. I was so caught up that I didn't even notice the knock on the door until Briony's voice broke through.

"Luna Vesperia, are you asleep?” She asked.
