“What?” Harper gasped. “Why?”

I shot her a look to keep her voice down before wincing as the pain in my arm got even more intense.

“I'm not going to his country.” I said, closing my eyes as the pain in my arm became uncontrollable. “So I have to run before he gets back… or else I won't have a chance.”

“This is crazy. Of course, I don't want you to go…” Her voice turned emotional, “
