I never thought I'd ever be scared or devastated to go see my brother in my life.

It had just never occurred to me that one day, he would be the last person I wanted to see. I felt awful, terrified, and embarrassed all at once.

“Do I really have to be present?” I mumbled, glaring at the busy streets, lit up and active, a total contrast to what I felt and how I felt inside.
