My mind is in shambles.

Not just shambles, it’s been completely altered by what my father said over the phone.

I have stared at the vial for so long, all I know is that I slept and awoke, and it is now a brand-new day, and I am still looking at it.

I wish that I could say that perhaps I had heard my father wrong, and that all this was in my head. But I know that I did not.
