I glanced behind the young Lord, noting he had scared off most of the human help by simply being here.

The maids were now a tent away, glancing at us and whispering.

Great.Just great.

"Mother wants you to eat."

My gaze flashed back to the boy and I nodded, getting the plate from him. Hey, I would take a win whilst I still had it.

No point starving.

"Thank you," I muttered.
