Leaving the Sanctuary

We stay in our cave for another week after Orea is born. We carefully take her out every day, making sure she gets some fresh air. Aeliana lays her in the grass and then will use her element to grow flowers around her.

My mate is back to normal now. As much as I loved having her desire for me run as deeply as mine does for her, there’s a reason she’s my mate. I need the balance that she gives me.
