Absolute Devotion

We left Vaelia and Malakar, both of us feeling better. I hadn’t realized the first flight would seal the bond between child and parent and a bit of Korran’s unease has lifted.

Not knowing what to expect of either Vaelia or Malakar, I was pleasantly surprised by both. Malakar is a sweet dragon, like a huge, unsteady toddler but with a kind heart. Vaelia is nothing at all like I expected.
