"Hello."

The word leaves my lips in a whisper, weak and unsure. For a few seconds, there is only silence on the other end. My heart is pounding so hard that I can hear it in my ears. Then, a soft sound like a shaky breath.

"Sienna..."

I sighed at the sound of her voice. My best friend. My sister in everything except blood.

My knees almost give out. A sob escapes before I can stop it.
