He wants me to stock up on the house and make a meal for him. I was eager to do that a minute ago, but now I no longer want to.

I overheard his and Rhys's conversation; they were discussing Alaric's upcoming wedding. The thought of his wedding triggers something in me—it weakens me, and I no longer want to be in his presence. I want to stay far away from him.
