Alaric's POV

She doesn’t know a thing. She is so damn clueless, it is cute. She doesn’t know that everything she does, every one of her actions, leaves a certain effect on me. On my body. I am about to go insane from how adorable she looks; I am about to implode when she unexpectedly jumps on me.

The shock. The excitement that fills my body is not something unexpected.

“Oh shit. No, Nelle,” I groa
