The Uninvited

I get out of bed carefully so I don't wake her and pull the blankets over her to keep her warm. After giving her one last look, I walk over to one of the drawers and put on a pair of pajama pants. Annoyed, I head toward the door because today I had nothing planned except spending the day with my mate, and it's still too early for anyone to enter my chambers without permission.
