Oh God.

The words triggered a flash of memory.

The ache that would not go away as my hands moved across my body, touching myself.

"Why did I..." My voice came out weak. "What happened to me?"

I stumbled backward and sat down hard on the edge of the bed. The room spun again. My head pounded. Nothing made sense.

"Last night..." Magnus's voice softened slightly. "You were not yourself."
