Maison straightened in his chair. "Language, Laurent."

"Dad, I just got an email about moving up the entire launch timeline. Multiple emails, actually. This is the first I'm hearing of any of this. Why wasn't I informed?"

I sank back into my seat, making myself smaller.

"We are informing you now," Maison said calmly, gesturing to an empty chair. "This meeting is to keep you updated."
