Brynn’s lips were sweeter than any victory. The medal and the MVP award could be given to anyone, but with Brynn standing beside me, it was more than enough. It was everything.

I pulled her face closer to mine, kissing her even deeper, savoring the moment I had been waiting for all game. However, she placed both hands against my chest and gently pushed me away. I looked down at her, c
