Meeting the Parents

Kaelen’s POV

I was nervous. There was no other explanation. I felt even more nervous than I did before my games in the league.

Why wouldn’t I be when my lover’s parents were sitting right in front of me?

“Let’s eat,” her mom said, breaking the silence.

I nodded and looked at the array of food in front of me, and I couldn’t help but feel pleasant. Since when was the last time I had eaten a warm, ho
