Valerie was a little absent-minded. It was not until Declan walked near and cast a shadow down that she instinctively looked up. When she saw Declan, she was slightly stunned. After a long time, she asked softly, "Why are you here?"

"I had nothing to do today, so I came by to have a look," Declan replied softly. He took the book from her hand and asked, "Shall we go?"

Valerie nodded gently. "Yes."
