Arthur flashed me a smile, his eyes subtly roaming my face. I didn't smile back at him because I didn't see any reason to. I found it strange that he was even acting so friendly to me. I shook his hand.

"Ohhhh," I exhaled. "Maybe I saw you at an event I attended."

"You should have considered that earlier. You are really beautiful, by the way."

"Thank you." I glanced down at our joined hands
