The Unseen Strike

SIENNA’S POV

Kiera’s scream tore through the air like a blade. My head snapped toward her, and my stomach dropped. She was on the floor, blood pooling around her as she writhed in pain.

“Kiera!” I rushed to her, panic coursing through me. Myra was right behind me, dropping to her knees beside her daughter.

“What happened?” Myra’s voice was sharp, trembling just enough to betray her fear.
