When I was a little calm, and completely exhausted from crying, Silvano showed me pictures he'd taken of her, and said he'd already buried her because he didn't want me to go through the emotional trauma of doing it myself.

I didn't say anything or question him for doing that, because it would have really broken me to see her lifeless body, so I merely hugged the photo and cried again
