The Villains Reward

When Valentin said he had a “reward” for me, my mind immediately spiraled into all kinds of possibilities.

Most of them involved punishment.

Maybe he’d lock me in the villa with guards stationed at every exit, making sure I couldn’t escape. Or maybe he’d finally snap, shove me into some abandoned wine cellar, and leave me to die while he cackled dramatically in the shadows. And then
