Pure, unadulterated heat shot straight through my veins the very second Valentin’s large, calloused hand clamped around my wrist. The sudden touch sent a jolt of raw electricity straight down into my core. My breath hitched in the back of my throat. I stood frozen in place, my eyes snapping down to where his long, powerful fingers locked like a vice over my skin. The sheer warmth o
