The atmosphere at the Bastion was undeniably different the next morning. Everyone seemed to leave whatever they were doing and focus on me as soon as they sensed my presence. The whispers… They were a lot. Loud, intended for me to hear. They all looked at me with accusations evident on their faces. They had already spun the perfect story they wanted to believe, one in which I was the villain
