He came in at past midnight. I locked the door of room and threw the keys beneath the bed. It was the only way I could stop myself from barging into his room to nag him. Did he have fun? What was all that talk about demoting Vanessa if he still held meetings with her present. Was it something he just said to make it seem like he wasn't being partial to me?
