Gideon walked into my room as I took a few steps back. He closed the door firmly behind him and locked it. His blue eyes were on me, and I could see the desire dancing in their depths.

“Don’t you already know why I’m here…?” Gideon asked in a seductive drawl as his hands reached out and cupped my cheek.

He didn’t give me a chance to reply to his teasing question when his lips crushed down on mine.
