Entering the Alpha's Den

First Person POV

My worn shoes barely made a sound against the pristine marble floors of the packhouse. Attendants in crisp uniforms walked briskly behind me, their synchronized footsteps echoing through the cavernous, dimly lit corridors. I kept my eyes fixed straight ahead, refusing to look at the towering portraits of past leaders or the opulent tapestries that lined the stone walls. My heart hammered against my ribs like a trapped bird. Every step brought me closer to a fate I had never imagined for myself, but backing out was an impossible luxury. I needed two solid bars of gold to save my dying mother. That single, desperate fact anchored me to the floor every time my knees threatened to buckle.

I was walking to the private chambers of the Alpha triplets. Zander, Kellan, and Soren. They were ruthless, devastatingly beautiful men who held the entire werewolf world in their iron grip. They possessed unmatched power and unmatched cruelty. But despite their god-like status, they were cursed.

The stories of their curse were whispered in every corner of the territory. The goddess herself had cast a heavy shadow over their lives. They were gifted with prime, dominant wolves, yet they lacked the honor and soul a true Alpha required. They killed without hesitation and ruled without mercy. However, what truly drew the goddess’s wrath was their insatiable, heartless indulgence in carnal pleasures.

Zander, Kellan, and Soren treated sex as a sport. They possessed an unquenchable thirst for flesh, taking countless women into their beds to pass the time. Women threw themselves at the triplets, desperate for a single night with the walking fantasies, and the brothers did not care who they ruined or used as long as their physical cravings were satisfied. To the goddess, this casual desecration of the mating bond was an unholy sin. Sex was meant to be sacred, a binding force between true fated mates, not a fleeting, meaningless game.

So, she cursed them with a brutal ultimatum. If they did not find and mark their fated mate before their twenty-sixth birthdays, their bodies would rot from the inside out, and they would die.

The goddess did not make it easy. She gave them one single mate to share among the three of them, and she stripped that woman of her scent. The Alphas could not rely on their powerful wolf senses to find her in a crowd. They could not track her down. The only way to discover her identity was to claim her. They had to fuck her and mark her. Only then would they know if they had found the one destined to save their lives.

That twisted, desperate ritual was the exact reason I was currently being marched through their estate. Tonight, I was the chosen vessel. I was the body they would use to test the goddess’s cruel game. Other females called this an honor. They claimed that even if I was not the mate, spending just one night beneath Zander, Kellan, and Soren was the ultimate dream. I felt nothing but a cold, heavy dread in my stomach. I was not doing this for pleasure or prestige. I was selling my flesh to keep my mother breathing.

The procession came to a sudden halt. We stood before a set of massive, imposing golden doors. The metal was intricately carved with ancient wolf runes, and the sheer size of the entrance made me feel incredibly small.

Teresa, the head attendant, stepped up beside me. She offered a sad, well-practiced smile that told me she had escorted countless terrified girls to these very doors. "Remember what we taught you, child. Do not question what the Alphas ask of you. Do not stare at them for too long without permission. Refer to them separately as Alpha Zander, Alpha Kellan, and Alpha Soren. Above all else, do not try to strike up a conversation with them unless you are given direct permission to speak."

I swallowed the dry lump in my throat and repeated her instructions word for word, locking the strict rules of submission into my brain.

Teresa nodded slowly, her expression softening for a fraction of a second. She reached out and grasped the heavy iron handles of the golden doors. "I wish you the best of luck, Elara."

I offered her a tight, fragile smile. "Thank you for helping me, Teresa."

The heavy doors groaned as Teresa pushed them open. The dark, sprawling space beyond the threshold swallowed the light from the hallway. I took a deep breath, forcing my lungs to expand, and stepped over the boundary. I planned to close my eyes, detach my mind from my body, and let the nightmare be over as quickly as possible.

The moment both of my feet were inside, the golden doors slammed shut behind me with a deafening crack.

The sound made me flinch, but it was not the noise that froze the blood in my veins. My breath hitched, and a violent tremor wrecked my frame. Three men occupied the massive bedroom, and all three pairs of eyes snapped directly to me the second the doors sealed.

Goddess above. The rumors did not do them justice.

Their beauty was an overwhelming, suffocating force. They were not just muscular and handsome. Their features were refined, striking, and flawless, as if an artist had spent a lifetime chiseling their jawlines from marble. They possessed identical faces, yet their distinct auras filled the room with thick, suffocating tension. The only physical difference separating the monsters was the color of their hair.

Kellan lounged on the center of the massive king-sized bed. His soft blond hair framed his face in a chaotic, attractive mess. A wicked, amused smirk curved his lips the moment his eyes landed on me. He rested his head lazily against his palm, looking exactly like a dark, twisted prince from a fairytale.

Kellan flicked his tongue across his bottom lip, his gaze dragging down the length of my body with raw, unfiltered hunger. "Oh, this one is different. I am not sure why, but she smells more delicious than the others, brothers. Something tells me she is our mate."

A cool, unimpressed voice cut through the heavy air of the room. "Did you not say that exact same thing about the one we fucked yesterday? And the day before that?"

I shifted my eyes toward the couch. Soren sat there shirtless, his broad, scarred chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. His brown hair fell over his forehead as he casually flipped through the pages of a thick book resting in his lap. If Kellan was the charming prince, Soren was the brilliant, calculating villain waiting to tear a victim apart piece by piece.

Soren snapped the book shut and rested his chin on his knuckles. He narrowed his dark eyes at me, heavy intrigue rolling off his posture. "But you are right about this one. She smells delicious."

For a split second, a flash of recognition passed through Soren’s eyes, but he masked it so quickly I convinced myself I had imagined it.

A third, deeper voice echoed from the far corner of the room, sending a fresh wave of chills down my spine. "It does not matter if she smells good or not. What matters is finding our mate. We are not to enjoy them."

I flicked my gaze to the window. Alpha Zander leaned against the glass, his long black hair falling in straight, sharp lines over his broad shoulders. He held a crystal glass of red wine, swirling the dark liquid with slow, menacing grace. As he spoke that final sentence, his eyes flashed a bright, eerie white. The cold, mechanical dismissal in his tone made my stomach twist into painful knots.

Before I could even blink, the air shifted.

A terrifying blur of motion ripped across the room. I gasped and nearly stumbled backward as Kellan materialized just inches from my face. He moved with impossible, supernatural speed. His large, hot hand wrapped firmly around my waist, his long fingers biting into my flesh. He pulled me flush against his hard body. The sudden impact knocked the wind out of me.

He stared down at me, his eyes dark and studying. I was frozen in place, utterly captivated by the dangerous proximity of his face.

Teresa’s warning screamed in the back of my mind. *Do not stare at them for too long without permission.*

Panic spiked in my chest. I quickly dropped my gaze to the dark floorboards, my heart thrashing against my ribs.

Kellan squeezed my waist tighter. "Look up, little she-wolf."

I instantly obeyed the command, snapping my chin up to meet his intense stare.

As I did, the shadows behind me moved. Soren was suddenly standing right beside Kellan. The brown-haired Alpha circled around to my back like a predator stalking cornered prey.

Soren stepped forward, pressing his solid, muscular chest firm against my spine. I inhaled a sharp, ragged breath as I realized I was physically trapped between the two massive brothers. The heat radiating off their bodies was intoxicating and suffocating all at once.

Soren reached out and brushed my hair aside, exposing the sensitive skin of my neck. He buried his nose against my pulse point and took a long, deep inhale. "What is your name, she-wolf?"

I forced my vocal cords to work, though my voice came out as a weak, stuttering whisper. "M-My name is Elara, Alpha Soren."

Before Soren could pull away from my neck, Kellan reached out and dug his thumb and forefinger into my chin. His grip was a vice, forcing my head up and locking my eyes onto his. That amused, predatory grin stretched wider across his flawless face. His eyes flared with that same eerie, terrifying white glow that Zander possessed.

Kellan chuckled, a low, rumbling sound that vibrated straight through my bones. His dark gaze dropped deliberately to my lips. "Well, Elara. Kneel for me. Unzip my pants and let us put that pretty mouth to use on my cock."

My heart exploded in my chest. The blunt, explicit command shattered whatever fragile composure I had left. My mind raced in a frantic circle, searching for an escape, searching for a reason to hesitate. But the ultimate rule of the packhouse echoed over the roaring blood in my ears.

*Do not question what the Alphas ask of you.*

I surrendered to the inevitable and prepared to drop to my knees.
