My legs bounced restlessly as I sat opposite a bunch of people comprising two middle aged men, and a younger woman who could be in her thirties. All were dressed in suits and while one of the men scanned through a thick parchment in his hand, the other two conversed in soft whispers.

My restlessness increased, and as I waited for them to say something, I felt a hand softly land on my thigh.
