I raised my chin, matching his angry gaze with mine. “I answer only to Prince Rowan, and FYI,” I leaned in closer to his ear. “Your food isn’t really that great. I’ve tasted better.” I shrugged.

Kael breathed out a laugh., moving back to appraise me from head to toe. “Yeah right. I doubt any other cook can make you moan like me.”
