My eyelids fluttered open and I stared all around me, wondering where I was. I was very sure I was supposed to be in my bedroom, so what was I doing in a strange white room instead? I tried to sit up but fell back to my bed almost immediately.

Fuck, my head hurt. And where the hell was I?

“Kaia?” I heard a familiar voice call out to me. I tilted my head towa
