"Are you out of your mind???" I yell at the top of my lungs.

I slam my hands against Kaelen's solid chest, shoving his broad frame away from me with every ounce of strength I can muster. A suffocating panic claws at my throat, threatening to choke the air right out of my lungs. The mere suggestion leaving his lips feels like a physical blow to my stomach, knocking the wind out of me.
