I didn’t know who I was. That realization hit me like a brick. I could barely remember anything.

What my name was, and who my parents were?

Fuck, I didn’t even know what I looked like.

My chest grew tighter, each breath feeling like I was dragging it through a narrow straw.

The nurse’s eyes widened as she rushed over to me with the doctor.

“She’s not breathing properly. Are you asth
