Almost Lost You

I followed quietly behind Alessio as we walked up the staircase, chewing the inside of my cheeks as I stayed silent.

Alessio turned to look at me before turning away, he didn’t question my silence and I wasn’t certain I even wanted to talk about it.

We walked into our room quietly and the door shut behind us with a soft click.
