I didn’t think, I just acted. My heart dropped to my stomach and at some point, I felt crazy for doing what I had done.

“Alessio!” I screamed once more, and he immediately turned around.

The world spun as I jumped over the banister with my heart racing. My only goal was to get to Alessio. I didn’t care how reckless it was or how stupid it might seem—I needed him at this moment.
