Brant dragged Sloane out of Vortex Club.

Sloane thought Brant would take her to some restaurant in downtown Oakhaven, but he took her to the back of Vortex Club building.

He shifted quickly in front of Sloane, and his wolf was gray-black and huge. He lowered his head and gently bit Sloane's hand with his canine teeth.

Sloane put her arms around Brant's wolf and got on his back.
