I did not let Damian touch me.

The moment his hands found my waist again, I moved away from him, putting the length of the bed between us.

"I am exhausted," I told him. "The only thing on my mind right now is the lab expansion. I cannot think about anything else until that is where it needs to be."

Damian looked at me the way he always looked at me when I was not doing what he wanted.
